One&Only Offers Experts In-Residence Program

Nothing is more impressive than having a little expertise, am I right? With that said, VIP travelers will want to check out One&Only Resorts' Expert Series.

From culinary and PGA Tour Academies to artists and musicians in-residence, One&Only is offering a slew of programs to help guests usher in the New Year as an expert in something.

Under the tutelage of Reethi Rah master chefs, guests at One&Only Reethi Rah in the Maldives will learn the nuances of food presentation and cuisine. Classes are available in a range of culinary styles from around the world (think Maldivian, Chinese, Italian, Indian, Arabian, Japanese 'Washoku,' Thai or French).

One&Only Palmilla is offering a Mexican culinary school, which begins with a guided tour of the hotel's brand new herb garden. Guests pick ingredients before taking part in a demonstration led by expert chefs. To complement the class, Manual Arteaga, One&Only head sommelier, while share a pairing menu of Mexican wines and tequilas.

One&Only Cape Town is home to a tri-level wine loft with over 5,000 bottles. The hotel has recently unveiled their Wine & Dine evenings curated by Luzo Ntezo, head sommelier. Ntezo hosts small groups to dine with himself, South African celebrity chef Reuben Riffel and a chosen winemaker.

Unleash your inner Picasso at One & Only Reethi Rah with Australian artist Christopher Hogan. Between February and April 2012, guests will enjoy private art instruction while relaxing beachside.

Musicians-to-be can hone their skills at One&Only Palmilla, with Mexican musician Antonio Zepeda. Using pre-Columbian instruments such as ocarinas and conch shells, Zepeda teaches guests how to harness the physical benefits of sound.
