One&Only Palmilla has reopened with a host of sexy new enhancements, including a new 22,000-square-foot spa, complete with a chic beauty salon, OBO by Jonathan & George and Barber and Blade, the new men’s grooming and shave studio. Early morning workouts, anyone? There’s a new Technogym fitness center (think personal trainers, fitness and wellness programs. Yes, please). A new spa menu, a larger shop and fresh juice bar round out the new additions.
You won’t feel as if you’re missing out on sunbathing time if you opt for a treatment in the new outdoor treatment space. Otherwise, treatments take place in 13 private villas, each set within its own secluded landscaped courtyard; they’ve also got plunge pools, rain showers and, our favorite touch, swinging day beds. Try the Secret Garden Remedy, aimed to create mind and body equilibrium. Traveling with teens? A spa menu has been crafted for those ages 13-16. Tip: After a late morning massage, dine at the spa’s Yoga Garden with a fresh beverage in hand from the juice bar.
For maintaining your jetsetter look, the OBO Salon by Jonathan & George, created in collaboration with Beverly Hills celebrity stylists Jonathan Antin and Amanda George, offers blow-outs, wedding up-dos, nail services and beauty treatments designed for a beach vibe. One&Only Palmilla was closed for months following Hurricane Odile; it revamped its guest rooms during that time and added a steakhouse by Jean-Georges Vongerichten.
