Raising Ex-SPA-ctations: Stonewater Cove's New Treehouse Spa

Stonewater Cove Resort and Spa in Missouri's Mark Twain National Forest is raising the bar on the whole 'spa' concept. Literally. Slated to debut Memorial Day weekend, the new Treehouse Spa will be comprised of individual elevated treatment rooms incorporating hand-crafted materials from the local woods.

The spa will include a reception room as well as single and double treatment rooms, each housed in their own "treehouse." Nice touch: Almost an entire wall of each treatment room will be glass, offering open views of the red and white oak, cedar, juniper, hickory and sycamore forest.
