Auberge Resorts appointed Martin Nicholson as general manager of Encantado, an Auberge Resort, located in Santa Fe. Nicholson will oversee the award-winning property and its 65 casitas, its destination spa, its Terra Restaurant and The Bar at Encantado.

Nicholson most recently served as managing director at The Langham Huntington Hotel in Pasadena, CA, where he oversaw an award-winning culinary program. Prior to that, he was general manager at The Ritz-Carlton Golf & Spa Resort, Rose Hall, Jamaica, following a tenure as vice president and general manager at Carmel Valley Ranch in Carmel Valley, CA. Previously, he also served as managing director at Mount Juliet Hotel, a resort in Kilkenny, Ireland, and as vice president and managing director at Caneel Bay, A Rosewood Resort in St. John, U.S. Virgin Islands.
Nicholson is a graduate of Shannon College of Hotel Management in Ireland.
Encantado opened in 2008 and encompases 57 acres of land outside the main city center of Santa Fe in Tesuque, N.M.
