The Setai, Miami Beach, member of The Leading Hotels of the World, announced today that Guenter H. Richter, C.H.A., has joined the hotel as vice president and managing director. Richter is one of the most recognized professionals in the luxury hotel industry, most recently serving as managing director of The Setai Fifth Avenue in New York City. Prior to that, he was General Manager of The Regent Bal Harbour, The St. Regis in New York, and The Drake Hotel in New York, as well as luxury hotels including the Bel Air Hotel in Beverly Hills and The Mansion on Turtle Creek in Dallas. Richter holds degrees from the Hotel Management School in Heidelberg, Germany and Cornell School of Hotel Administration in Ithaca, New York.
