The newly redesigned 20th floor Summit Lounge at Sofitel Plaza Hanoi has a spacious wooden terrace, fibre-optic ceiling, dedicated DJ booth and long, sleek bar. The lounge is emerging as a hotspot for nightlife, with a string of monthly events including bubble shoot-outs, nostalgic 90s parties and toga nights.
The lounge offers 360 degree views from day to night, and the restaurant offers up modernly interpreted Southeast Asian street-food like steamed clams in Saigon Beer and Nha Trang oysters in nam jim sauce. There are also 40 culinary cocktails on the menu created by celebrity chef Will Meyrick.
Guests can relax on the outdoor terrace or inside among flickering nights and a relaxing palette of midnight blue, purple and crimson.
On “Magnifique Tuesdays,” patrons receive half-off on displayed French wines. During the “Missbehave” event on Thursdays, ladies get two free shots with each culinary cocktail ordered.
