Guests of Swissôtel Hotels & Resorts can now take parts of the hotels home with them. The brand now has its own online retail shop, “Swissôtel at home,” where anyone can order a wide selection of items you'd find in the hotels themselves.
We hear that Swissotel guests often spot items in the hotel they like, such as pillows, and commented that they'd like to be able to buy them. This was the impetus for the online shop. The selection ranges from bed linen, towels and bathrobes, to accessories handcrafted by the Swiss goldsmith Sebastian Fässler, who has designed silver keyrings, cufflinks and a silver brooch specially for the hotel chain.
The “Swiss Circles” papercut motifs—a design element that forms a common theme throughout all the Swissôtels worldwide—are also featured on many products such as mugs, Sigg drinking bottles, perfumed candles or silk scarves.
Swissotel currently has hotels under development in Saudi Arabia; Dresden, Germany; Kiev, Ukraine; New Delhi; and Bangalore, India.
