Planning a girl's getaway (or a romantic tryst)? We have just the spot to check out. The Umstead Hotel and Spa in Cary, North Carolina has just unveiled the revamped Umstead Spa following a three-month renovation.

The Spa has 16,000 square feet of treatment space, which spans two floors. Tranquil touch: Natural elements of river rock, granite, bamboo and glass have been incorporated into the new design. Facilities for couples have also been retouched, including three treatment rooms, each with a soaking tub, a co-ed relaxation lounge and an open-roof current pool with 12-foot-high privacy walls.

A nail salon space has also been added.
