W Hotels Arrives In UAE Capital With W Abu Dhabi – Yas Island

W Hotels has made its brand debut in the United Arab Emirates (U.A.E.) capital with the opening of W Abu Dhabi – Yas Island. Located in Abu Dhabi’s entertainment epicenter, the hotel is the brand’s second W Hotel to open this year in the U.A.E. after W Dubai – The Palm and has become the only hotel in the world located atop a Grand Prix racetrack.

W Abu Dhabi – Yas Island is just 15-minutes from Abu Dhabi International Airport at the doorstep of the famed Yas Marina Circuit and Yas Marina. The hotel is also in close proximity to Ferrari World, Warner Brothers Studios and Abu Dhabi’s biggest shopping center, the Yas Mall.

Guests can catch the action of the racetrack from the hotel’s 499 guestrooms and suites, which have floor-to-ceiling windows. The EWOW Suite (the brand’s take on the Presidential Suite), totals 1,342 square feet spread over two floors; it has a private lap pool, sauna and views of Yas Island.

From the W brand’s pool, guests can enjoy signature drinks and DJ performances with a backdrop of the Yas Marina Circuit. W Abu Dhabi – Yas Island will also offer FUEL-focused activities (fitness and wellness programming), including weekly workouts, healthy cuisine and adventures.

W Abu Dhabi – Yas Island’s dining will be led by Garage, an a la carte food hub with five unique mini-concepts: Steam Table, serving up noodles and dumplings; Nikkei House, offering Peruvian/ Japanese cuisine; Mezza Bar, focusing on Lebanese mezze; Meat Vault, offering grilled cuts; and Tart Van, which serves only tarts. Guests can opt for Amici for an authentic Italian experience or Angar, which serves Indian food. W Lounge has a variety drink stations that each focus on a signature beverage alongside a curated menu. The ambiance here is set by DJs and live music.
