What's New: the RockStar Hotels Collection

Currently growing on the travel scene is the new Rockstar Hotels boutique hotel collection. The new line already has 40 hotels and nearly 3,000 rooms in seven countries across the globe.

The collection is the brainchild of the company’s president and CEO, Robert Santucci, who’s a veteran of brands like Marriott and Starwood. Santucci cited a travel experience in Europe with his father during his childhood as part of the inspiration for developing RockStar Hotels.

“My father invited each of his children to visit Europe when we turned 14,” Santucci said. “I was the only one who jumped at the offer -- and so began my love affair with travel. The more I’ve traveled, the more I’ve embraced the thrill of happening upon a hidden jewel of a hotel. I have wanted, for some time, to make it easy for others to find those jewels and the memories that come with them.”

The hotels belonging to RockStar must be smaller hotels that appeal to the unique traveler; hotels “with soul, style and interesting backstories” that will appeal to travelers wanting to feel a part of local culture. RockStar uses a team of seasoned hoteliers and world travelers to identify properties across the world that meet the company’s high standards in service, décor and amenities.

Good to know: To ensure a quality selection, RockStar executives revisit the hotels within the portfolio every 90 days to ensure that each property remains high-quality.

More than just a hotel collection, RockStar Hotels has created a fully-functioning website designed to allow travelers to navigate the web with ease of navigation, particularly in finding and gaining access to unique properties and destinations. The site places hand-picked hotels for each destination on a single page, to eliminate the scrolling that makes online searching tedious. Rather than each hotel’s listing beginning with a description, they’re introduced with a story; something designed to catch the reader and travelers eyes.

“We know that traveling today can be challenging,” Santucci added. “We have chosen hotels that intuit the mood of the guest the moment he or she appears at their entrance. The hotels in our portfolio are committed to anticipating the needs of the guest and delivering their own special brand of hospitality. Guests are assured of that no matter what RockStar hotel they book.”

Insider Tip: The collection is also making the standard traveler feel more VIP with a variety of special perks, available to RockStar guests at no additional costs. These include free upgrades, early check-in and late check-outs, and a variety of complimentary amenities. There are also plans in the works to offer other benefits to those who book through RockStar Hotels.
