Zadún, a Ritz-Carlton Reserve Now Accepting Reservations

Reservations are open for stays beginning October 15, 2019 for Zadún, a Ritz-Carlton Reserve, the fourth property in the Ritz-Carlton Reserve portfolio.

The name Zadún is derived from the Spanish word “dunas” and the dunes encompassing the resort. Located near the coastline of San José del Cabo, Mexico, in Puerto Los Cabos, Zadún will offer panoramic views of the Sea of Cortez.

The hotel’s 115 guestrooms and suites are equipped with a private plunge pool and terrace, within 42 two-story villas. Private attendants are available to all guests.

Among Zadún’s 15 room categories is the property’s signature villa, the Grand Reserve Villa, which offers 5,930 square feet of living space, two large bedrooms, five lounges, a pool, one Jacuzzi, a private kitchen, a gym, a living room, two full bathrooms and two half-bathrooms. All guest accommodations are modern takes on Mexican design created by handcrafters from areas like Oaxaca, Yucatán, Campeche, Mexico City, Jalisco, and Puebla.

Food and beverage venues on the property include a Latin American grill, a Mexican-street-food experience, an adult only outlet offering fresh ceviche and catch-of-the day fare and an agave bar serving handcrafted cocktails.

Zadún will also house a 29,535-square-foot Spa Alkemia, featuring several customized, locally inspired treatments for solo spa guests, couples and small groups. Guests of the hotel will also have direct access to the Puerto Los Cabos Golf Course, adjacent to the property.

Sandra Estornell was appointed as GM of the property in June 2017. She has worked for Ritz-Carlton for 15 years, looking after a total of 17 luxury hotel openings including The Ritz-Carlton, Vienna.
