Hulbert House Opens in Queenstown

Lakeview Suite Hulbert HouseIn honor of International Wellness Day on June 11, Hulbert House, a new luxury boutique hotel situated in Queenstown, New Zealand, has announced it is now open for booking.

Queenstown is known as one of New Zealand's most popular destinations for adventure travel, offering skiing, snowboarding, jetboating, rafting and bungee-jumping. Hulbert House aims to provide a relaxing place for guests to relax and unwind after a day of activities, with six suites set in a restored Victorian villa affording views of Lake Wakatipu and Skyline Hill. The hotel is also within walking distance of Queenstown's central business area. 

Originally built in 1887 during the New Zealand gold rush, the house has been restored by designer Neil McLachlan, and interiors are decorated with chandeliers, French antiques and a Chinese willow pattern carpet tailor-made in England from pure New Zealand wool.  

Guests staying at Hulbert House have access to personal concierge service, breakfast, refreshments during the day and pre-dinner drinks and canapes. Nearby activities include wine tastings in the Central Otago region, and treatments at the private spa at Onsen Hot Pools. Guests can also take advantage of the nearby mountains, forest trails and Lake Wakatipu.
