IC Bellagio has raised more than $8,500 for local charities as a result of its Casual Friday initiative for staff and its inaugural Gala Evening, "Luxury by the Lake."
We hear the event was held Sunday, July 21, at the company's flagship villa Corte del Lago in Bellagio on the shore of Lake Como. Among the attendees were guests from India, the UK and the US. Host Andrea Grisdale, founder and CEO of IC Bellagio treated guests to Prosecco and pre-dinner canapes on the terrace, followed by a three-course meal in the seven-bedroom villa's ballroom. The whole evening concluded with a fireworks display over the lake.
Donations were presented to three local charities.
Silvano Manzoni, President of Paolo Belli Association – a non-profit association for the treatment of leukaemia and other pathologies - received a donation of more than 2,000 Euro for the Project La Nuova Casa del Sole, which will accommodate families and friends visiting patients following treatments.
Luca Leoni, Deputy Mayor of Bellagio Town Hall, also received 2,000-plus Euro to help provide the local nursing home with the necessary equipment for patients undergoing treatment.
Finally, Maurizio Boleso, Mayor of Lezzeno Town Hall, received 2,000 Euro to provide all local sporting associations with the equipment required by law to meet health and safety regulations. Thanks to this donation, the town hall has bought a defibrillator that will be at the disposal of all local sport associations.
