Iconic Santorini will open on May 1 for another season. The hotel, which is positioned 1,000 feet above the island’s caldera, has 19 residences carved into the cliffs. This posh hideaway also includes an infinity pool, a wellness facility with a jetted grotto pool and a gym. However, we think the shaded terrace with vast views is the highlight.
From May 1 through September 30, 2016, guests can take advantage of two packages at the hotel. The Lover’s Escape package includes a stay in the new Cave Suite. This accommodation boasts lounging areas, two bathrooms and a terrace with jetted pool. The package comes with a bottle of Moet & Chandon Champagne on arrival, daily breakfast with mimosas, fresh fruit baskets every morning, flower arrangement in suite, candlelit dinner for two with a bottle of Greek wine, complimentary mineral water and sodas, half-day escorted sightseeing tour of the island and airport transfers.
Another package available is the Santorini Honeymoon Retreat. Guests will stay in the secluded, private Cliff Suite. This room includes a candlelit indoor grotto pool and an outdoor jetted pool. The outdoor pool is suspended from the volcanic caldera, and it has two wrap around balconies -- the views will impress. The other touches in this package are the same as the Lover’s Escape package, however the half-day tour is replaced with a rental car for two days, a picnic box for island trips and a couple’s massage.
These offerings are only available with a three-night minimum stay. Tip: We recommend booking early, as the packages only correspond with the suites listed.
