Hilton's luxury brand, Conrad Hotels & Resorts, is taking its VIP service over to India. We hear that in 2015 India will see the launch of Conrad Pune in Maharashta, which will mark the global brand's entry into the country.
Wit it foundation in the Art Deco style (think bold geometric shapes, dashes of color and over-the-top ornamentation), the 310-room hotel will be within the central business district of Pune. Guests at the hotel will have the choice of six dining outlets. The 16,200-square-foot meeting and event space at the hotel will include a 8,300-square-foot ballroom. There will also be an outdoor pool, fitness center, spa and salon.
Tech touch: Conrad Pune will also offer the mobile Conrad Concierge app, which gives travelers the ability to customize details of their hotel stay before, during and after their visit via smartphone or tablet. Think pre-selecting bath amenities, or checking-in while in-transit.
