Traveling to Venice this summer? Don’t miss an extraordinary cultural event: the Fenice Theatre will be staging three open-air opera performances of Giuseppe Verdi’s “Otello” for the first time in 40 years. The setting couldn’t be more magical- inside the Doge’s Palace in St. Mark’s Square. Conducted by maestro Myung-Whun Chung, the opera will take place on July 10, 14 and 17. (The performance lasts two hours.)
