One of the more popular programs, Gladiator Training allows families to learn ancient combat skills with authentic weaponry. Training can be arranged in in the hotel’s 15-acre private Mediterranean park, or onsite at Gruppo Storico Romano for access to an arena. Check out the small museum featuring a collection of antic swords and shields used by actual gladiators.

By special request, kids can take part in the Ferrari Kids Indoor Circuit Racing. the circuit comes equipped with stop signs and a pit stop area. Each child (up to two at a time) will be able to operate his or her own electric and perfectly reproduced Ferrari.

On site is also the Sunday Music Brunch complete with organized activities, homemade ice cream and the ‘Artisanal Homemade Souvenir’ experience, which kids them to work with a professional illustrator to create homemade calendars.

Within the city, families may also explore concierge-organized activities such as a guided tour of Rome’s secret piazzas and hidden cloisters at Stone Zoo; a journey through the Capitoline Museums and underground tunnels revealing ancient legends with the “Myths and Heroes” program, a pizza making workshop or have a fashion trip arranged with the Baby Fashionistas program, during which families will visit renowned designer shops. (Entertainment is available for children if parents want time to shop solo.)

Visits can also be arranged to some of Rome’s top sights, including a Treasure Hunt in Villa Borghese, the 17th century public park, a visit to the Zoological Museum and to the Hydromania water park.
