Mad about macarons? Just wait until February, when Ladurée-- the renowned French macaron maker-- unveils its new cosmetics collection called “Les Merveilleuses de Ladurée” (The Wonders of Ladurée), created by Albion Cosmetics. The new makeup line— including 20 different blush colors, foundations, and lipstick as colorful as the signature macarons-- will launch in Japan, reports Women’s Wear Daily. Ladurée makeup will then be distributed in Europe in Fall 2012, followed by the U.S. and Asia. This isn’t the first time the beloved brand has dabbled in the beauty business; they first started selling almond-based moisturizers and face creams in 2007, capitalizing on one of the key ingredients in their macarons. In addition to the beauty line, Ladurée creates candles and perfumes.
