Jumeirah to Open Three Hotels in China

Jumeirah Group has announced three new luxury hotels to open across China.

First up, the Jumeirah Haikou Resort will open in an exclusive golf community on a private island in Hainan. Folloiwng that will be the Jumeirah Wuhan and finally the Jumeirah Nanjing.

The Jumeirah Haikou Resort will open in 2018. Haikou is the capital city of Hainan and the main business center. The mixed-use development will comprise a golf course designed by Tom Doak, 60 luxury residential villas and a luxury hotel made up of 140 guest rooms include 26 suites. Food and beverage outlets will feature an all-day dining and Chinese specialty restaurant, lobby lounge, bar, function space, recreational facilities (think premier leisure club lounge, kids' club, fitness center and spa).

Jumeirah Wuhan will be part of a mixed-use development made up of high-end office space, retail, residences, parks and a luxury hotel. The anticipated opening date will be in 2020. The property will have 200 guest rooms including 23 suites, an all-day dining and Chinese specialty restaurant, lobby lounge, bar ,function space, executive club lounge and business center. There will also be a fitness center, Talise Spa and indoor swimming pool

The third property, Jumeirah Nanjing is currently under development and is expected to open in 2016. Located just 40 minutes from the airport and a one-hour train ride from Shanghai, Jumeirah Nanjing will be in the Hexi new business district. The 250-room hotel will include 32 suites, an all-day dining and Chinese specialty restaurant, cafe, lobby lounge, tea lounge, bar, meeting space, fitness center, Talise Spa and an indoor swimming pool.
