JW Marriott Hotels & Resorts just celebrated the soft opening of its first property in Italy.
The new JW Marriott Venice Resort & Spa is located on its own private island, Isola delle Rose, and was designed in collaboration with award-winning Italian architectural firm Matteo Thun & Partners.
The hotel’s buildings have been refurbished with both traditional and contemporary designs. The property has fruit arbors, olive groves and garden plots, as well as a cooking school and wine academy. There is also a 1,750-metre spa which is set to open in May.
Additional hotel facilities include a kid’s club, family pool, and water sports such as Venetian rowing and sailing.
The JW Marriott Venice Resort & Spa will hold its grand opening on June 24, 2015.
