Canyon Ranch has just appointed Kathleen Shea as its new chief marketing officer. Shea joins other Canyon Ranch executives with offices in Fort Worth, Texas, in addition to the travels between the various Canyon Ranch locations nationwide.
Shea’s career in the luxury hotel market has spanned of 25 years, where she’s made history for successfully introducing international brands to the U.S. luxury hotel market. Previously, she’s held positions like vice president of sales and marketing at Mandarin Oriental, Four Seasons and Taj Hotels Resorts & Palaces.
Accomplishments of Shea include the pre-opening and launch of six Mandarin Oriental properties in the Americas, the development of new sales offices in 15 locations and the creation of the Taj Royal Attaché at The Pierre, earning her a Special Marketing Achievement Award.
Under Shea’s direction falls the sales, marketing and public relations efforts for Canyon Ranch’s newest wellness resort in Kaplankaya, Turkey, as well as initiatives for the expanding Canyon Ranch SpaClub at Sea division as well as SpaClub facilities in Las Vegas and wellspring resorts in Tuscon and Lenox.
