Big news out of Doha: Kempinski is announcing that its flagship resort, Marsa Malaz Kempinski, The Pearl - Doha is set to welcome its first guests on December 1, 2014. Marsa Malaz Kempinski will be the European hotel company's second hotel opening in Qatar and seventh in the Gulf, with two more hotels in the Middle East scheduled to open in the coming years.
The city-resort is located on its own secluded island at the iconic The Pearl-Qatar and is the first ultra-luxury hotel in one of Doha's prime locations. It offers 281 rooms and suites, meeting-conference facilities, a beach in a private bay, outdoor swimming pools, a Spa by Clarins, tennis court and yacht jetties.
Marsa Malaz Kempinski will offer multiple dining and entertainment options for all guests upon completion early next year. Visitors can select from six different types of restaurants, two cafes, al fresco beach-side dining, a sophisticated lounge and a rooftop lounge with large open-air terraces.
