Kensington Tours Launches Private Guided Tours to Madagascar

Kensington Tours has announced that it has added to its Africa portfolio private guided safaris and tours of the isle of Madagascar. Long considered as a unique destination, with ecologists referring to it as the eighth continent, the country rests off of the tip of Africa and is home to rare flora and fauna found nowhere else on earth.

Like other Kensington itineraries, every tour is customized to suit a traveler’s style, schedule and budget, and features private local guide, driver, hand selected properties, and internal flights, among others. There are four options available.

The four-day Madagascar Lemur Fever is a private guided travel through Andasibe-Mantadia with stays at a hotel and jungle lodge in a National Park; and day and night lemur hikes to spot red-bellied lemurs, brown lemurs, indri lemurs, ring-tailed lemurs, dancing lemurs, and singing lemurs.

The nine-day Madagascar Highlights is led by an expert private guide tour Antananarivo, Ambositra, Ranomafana, Fianarantsoa, Isalo and Ifaty. It features hidden waterfalls, walking safaris, arts workshops, hot springs, and beach time.

The 14-day Madagascar Signature is a private guided tour that includes lemur safaris, island hopping, boat cruises and village visits to tropical rainforests, beaches and lunar deserts. Included in the tour are Antananarivo, Andasibe-Mantadia, Ambositra, Ranomafana, Fianarantsoa, Isalo and Anakao.

The five-day Baobabs and Tsingy Explorer includes a hike at the Tsingy’s lunar stone forest, drive through alleys of baobab trees, and cruise the Tsiribihina River. This Malagasy adventure also visits Antananarivo, Bekopaka and Morondava.
