Kimpton Seafire Resort + Spa to Open in Grand Cayman This November

Grand Cayman is set to welcome its first new hotel in a decade, the Kimpton Seafire Resort + Spa, located on Seven Mile Beach. It’s also Kimpton’s first Caribbean hotel.

The resort’s design is unique to the Caribbean with a polished-but-rustic British colonial theme. Extensive gardens, local and international art, and beach views from nearly every room highlight the hotel. In additional to the 266 hotel suites, the property also has beachside bungalows, complete with living rooms, kitchenettes, wet bars, and luxurious bathrooms with soaking tubs.

The hotel has beach access, and Kimpton bikes in the units allow guests to go out on their own and explore the island.

The resort will also be home to a spa with a traditional Hammam – the only one of its kind in Grand Cayman – and three distinct culinary outlets by executive chef Massimo De Francesca - Ave, the Mediterranean-inspired main restaurant, Avecita, an exclusive chef’s table with just 12 seats, and Coccoloba, a Mexican-themed beachside bar, which has a live DJ after sunset.

Beverage Manager John Stanton of Sable Kitchen & Bar in Chicago will be curating the cocktail menus.

The destination is easily accessible via direct flights from 20 destinations including New York, Boston, Chicago Dallas, Houston, Miami, and London.
