We've heard wonderful rumors that a new italy-inspired eatery has opened in the heart of sunny Santa Monica - say hello to Villetta, a wrought-iron clad restaurant boasting serious steak and scotch.
Set across from Brentwood Country Mart, Villetta boasts a sprawling courtyard filled with a Tuscany-esque spread of foliage flanked by ottomans and benches ideal for alfresco noshing.
Nice Touch: Guests can take a gander at the authentic stucco walls or an aromatic sniff of all the potted herbs.
Be sure to try the seared blue fin tuna with japanese egghplant prepared by executive chef Pippa Calland (formerly of Le Madri and Luna Park in New York City) and of course, quaff a few glasses of high-end scotch.
