Langham to Enter Bali in 2017

baliLangham Hospitality Group has announced an agreement with PJM Group & partners to manage the Langham Place resort in Bali, Indonesia, that is scheduled to open in 2017.

Perched atop a cliff on the island’s famed Ungasan-Uluwatu area on the southern peninsula, this 173-room resort marks the Hong Kong-based hotel company’s first luxury resort in Asia under its Langham Hotels & Resorts collection.

With interiors designed by Budi Pradono Architects, Langham Place, Bali has a location overlooking the Indian Ocean. All 173 rooms, suites and villas will have outdoor terraces where guests can take advantage of Bali’s year-round tropical climate and enjoy the panoramic ocean views. A seven-minute walk away from the resort is the pristine Pandawa beach that is accessible to guests. Additionally, all 56 villas and suites will each have their own private plunge pools.

For weddings and events, Langham Place, Bali will have its own private wedding chapel exclusively for guests and local residents. Other special occasions may be held at the bridal room, a 4,306 square foot outdoor event lawn, and two ballrooms that are up to 5,382 square feet in size.

The group’s signature Chuan Spa will showcase treatment rooms, a whirlpool, as well as therapies based on the principles of traditional Chinese medicine. For families, there is a dedicated pool and deck, club and an outdoor playground area just for children.

For dining, guests may choose from the all-day restaurant, The Place, which offers both indoor and terrace seating, a rooftop bar, or the resort’s destination restaurant, the Beach Club.
