Le Méridien Hotels & Resorts, part of Marriott International, has announced its global music collaboration program has added the French new wave band Nouvelle Vague to its lineup. The band will be performing at Le Méridien hotels around the world.

Nouvelle Vague will be celebrating the release of their new album, I Could Be Happy, with acoustic performances at Le Méridien Piccadilly and Le Méridien Barcelona. In Shanghai and Vienna, Le Méridien will premiere its late-night music series Paris After Dark with members of the band, celebrating their shared French heritage.

One of the singles on the album, “La Pluie et le Beau Temps,” was written specifically for Le Méridien, in honor of the partnership between the hotel and the band. The first acoustic set will take place at Le Méridien Piccadilly in London on Monday, November 14; the second will take place at Le Méridien Barcelona in March 2017.

Paris After Dark is a late-night series that reinterprets French classics with a modern twist. The shows will star Elodie Frégé and Zula, and was created, choreographed and styled by both Charlie Le Mindu and Zula. Paris After Dark will premiere at Le Royal Méridien Shanghai on Friday, November 4.

On Tuesday, December 13, Paris After Dark will perform in Vienna, which recently revealed the results of a multi-million dollar renovation of all public spaces. Le Méridien Hub – a “coffee house by day, cocktail lounge by night” – will provide the backdrop to the show.

At the hotel’s Jazz Club Etoile in Paris, Le Méridien will introduce Nouvelle Vague Presents, a quarterly music program, which will host emerging talents throughout 2017.

Tickets for all music performances are open to the public.
