Loews Regency San Francisco Opens, Marking New Luxury Brand (VIDEO)

The Loews Regency San Francisco has opened, marking the launch of a new luxury brand for Loews Hotels & Resorts.

The new Loews Regency brand now includes the Loews Regency San Francisco and the Loews Regency New York, which recently underwent a $100 million renovation. 

Loews plans to build the brand's style around sought-after locations, personalized service and energetic lobby bars and lounges Additionally, each Loews Regency hotel will have a "Power Breakfast," a concept first established at the New York property. 

"The Loews Regency San Francisco coupled with the iconic Loews Regency New York allows us to develop a new brand that really concentrates on customers looking for an intimate luxury experience," said Jonathan Tisch, chairman of Loews Hotels & Resorts. 

Formerly the Mandarin Oriental San Francisco Hotel, the Loews Regency San Francisco is located in the city's Financial District on the top floors of San Francisco's third-tallest office building, offering uninterrupted views of the city and the bay. Here's a quick video showcasing the property: 

The hotel has 155 guest rooms, the Brasserie S&P restaurant, over 5,000 square feet of meeting space and a new 8,000 square foot spa and fitness center.
