UK hotel rates have increased overall in the past year, which is reflective of a growing UK economy. "Thanks to the economic recovery, tourism is picking up again and this is reflected in the price increase of hotel rooms in the capital," John West, managing director of HRS for the UK and Ireland tells Breaking Travel News.
After London, the largest increase in room rates was seen in Lisbon, Copenhagen and Amsterdam
