Luxury Gold Expands Worldwide Portfolio

Luxury Gold, curated by Insight Vacations, is launching its first worldwide program in 2017. The company’s luxury portfolio is expanding to 39 journeys (16 new itineraries), nine new countries, two new continents, and an inaugural “voluntourism” program.

The 2017 portfolio will deliver private experiences across Europe, North and South America, India, Southeast Asia and the South Pacific. The new itineraries include trips to Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos, Australia, New Zealand, Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Ecuador, and the Galapagos Islands – all first-time destinations for Luxury Gold.

While touring with Luxury Gold, guests will stay in luxury properties, go behind-the-scenes with a cabaret choreographer or a museum curator, and enjoy  top restaurants along the way.

New itineraries for 2017 include:

  • Inspiring Australia: A 13-day journey through Queensland, the Northern Territory, and New South Wales. Highlights include snorkeling on the Great Barrier Reef, sunset canapés at Uluru, a bushwalk in the Blue Mountains, and a cruise across Sydney Harbour on an America’s Cup yacht.
  • The French Connection: A 13-day exploration of England, Guernsey, Jersey and France. This historic journey takes guests through Thomas Hardy’s Dorset, the fascinating war history of Plymouth, the 1588 Spanish Armada, and the German occupation of the Channel Islands before reaching Paris and the Loire Valley.
  • Classic South America: A 12-day cultural escape from Sugarloaf to Devil’s Throat and everything in-between. Highlights include Rio’s Michelin-starred Pan-Asian Mee Restaurant, and stays at a luxury hotel near the thundering Iguassu Falls and the five-star Belmond Copacabana Palace.

On Luxury Gold’s new voluntourism extension in India through partners ME to WE, guests work on building projects, learn about sustainable agriculture practices, and gain insightful knowledge about life in the hills and farmland of India. Guests stay in the Araveli Cottages and Tented Camp, with sunrise yoga session and nature walk through the hills of the Aravalli mountain range.
