The Cliff House Resort & Spa has announced that it is offering gourmet weekends in November, with the Maine resort preparing seasonal menus highlighted by wine and microbrew tastings.
The Wine Tasting Weekend, from November 2 to 4, features the wines of Roth Estate Winery, paired with dishes like lemon poached lobster spoons, roasted rabbit ragout, and Kobe beef strip loin. The Microbrew Tasting Weekend, from November 9 to 11, offers a variety of Harpoon Brewery specialties to complement such dishes as roasted coffee and chili crusted pork tenderloin, and cold smoked lobster tail with lobster corn relish.
Cliff House gourmet weekends also feature ocean view accommodations and full breakfast. Also available are: designer outlet shopping, beaches, championship golf, and the spa.
The Cliff House Resort & Spa, located on 70 oceanfront acres in southern Maine, is owned and operated by the Weare family. The resort is celebrating its 140th season in 2012.
