Mandarin Oriental Expects Dubai Hotel in 2017

Mandarin Oriental will open a luxury urban resort in Dubai in 2017, aptly named the Mandarin Oriental, Dubai. We hear the 200 rooms and suites will include 12 over-water villas, accessible via private bridge. Each villa will have its own infinity edge pool and a private swim platform, allowing for direct access to the Arabian Gulf.

Speaking of infinity edged pools, the resort will be centered around a variety of them that lead down to the beachfront. The innovative design will use glass walls, cabanas and exterior landscaping.

Mandarin Oriental, Dubai will also have nine restaurants and bars including a signature pier-top restaurant with docking facilities (private yacht, anyone?). Other dining venues will include a poolside restaurant, two bars (with sunset pier!), lobby lounge and a signature Mandarin Oriental Cake Shop.

The Spa at Mandarin Oriental will have a range of wellness, beauty and massage treatments. Spa goers will have access to 12 treatment rooms, including three couples’ suites and a private VIP suite with its own entrance and thermal experiences. Other facilities will include heat and water therapies, a vitality pool, indoor and outdoor swimming pool and a fitness center. A dedicated Beach Club on Jumeirah Beach will offer a range of water sports activities.
