Starting June 1, The Biltmore Hotel in Miami will offer the "Biltmore Buddies" program offering daily themes and activities aimed at offering meaningful play for children.
The new imaginative programming, themed around the areas of Art Adventures, Fitness Fun, Team Training, Sports of Sorts, Performance Play and more, includes:
Lifestyles of the Fun & Fabulous: Kids can indulge in little luxuries with resort amenities tailored just for them. Whether they are off on a Yoga Adventure, fine-tuning their skills on the putting green or jet setting to the Culinary Academy to learn the fine art of pizza production, there is fun at every turn. Sample activities include:
- Culinary Academy – Pizza or Pastries
- Biltmore Putting Green
- Spa Yoga Studio - Yoga Adventure or Fun with Fitness Circuit
- Newspaper Fashion Show
- Aquatic Gala Games – Variety of water play games poolside
Biltmore Time Travelers: Biltmore Hotel welcomed its first guests in 1926 and is rich in well over 80 years of history. Children will travel through time to the Biltmore of yesteryear with sports, music and culture activities that embrace the past. Sample activities include:
- Time Warp Scavenger Hunt – Teams will be given a selection of photos of the Biltmore from yesteryear. They will go on a scavenger hunt in search of the locations depicted in the photos and will use today’s technology to capture a photo of the team in the same location.
- Lawn Croquet Tourney
- Construct a Pinhole Box Camera
- The Bee’s Knees Accessories – Biltmore buddies will design their own jewelry, hats and instruments inspired by the Roaring 20s.
Silver Screen Adventures: Children will explore all aspects of the filmmaking process as they learn the importance of teamwork and step into the roles of actors, directors and crew. They will be introduced to all the basics including performance, set and backdrop design, costumes, rehearsal and filming. Each Silver Screen Adventure will conclude with a red carpet movie premier. Sample activities include:

Aquatic Escapades: Kids will submerge themselves at the Biltmore’s 22,000 square foot pool. A variety of water activities include:
- Water Festival
- Paddle Races
- Capture the Flag SUP Race
- Build A Boat
- Lifeguard Games
Trekking Through the Tropics: Kids can take a look at plants and animals that call this unique environment home and discover their role in preserving it. This outdoor adventure will make memories while teaching children how to make a difference, with activities that include:
- Look Down, Look Up Hike
- Batik Art Designs
- Outdoor Art Studio
- Nature Scavenger Hunt
- Tropical Shadow Prints
- Team Survivor Series
The Biltmore Buddies program is offered daily (Monday – Sunday) from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. for $95 per day (includes lunch). The option for a half day is also available from 9 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. or 12:30 p.m. to 3 p.m. priced at $45 per day (lunch not included). Biltmore Buddies also offers a five day summer camp, available Monday through Friday, priced at $400 per child, per week.
In addition to Biltmore Buddies, the Biltmore Hotel offers kids’ summer camps at the Culinary Academy and Golf Club.
