Located in the Piazza Duca d’Aosta, the Excelsior Hotel Gallia opened in 1932 in central Milan. Currently in the middle of a renovation and strategic expansion, the hotel is poised to be a hotspot when it reopens. The hotel’s new architecture and design concept - led by Studio Marco Piva - has already won an award at the Expo Italia Real Estate exhibition in Milan, which was accepted by Studio Marco Piva, the architecture and design firm overseeing the hotel refurbishment.

When it reopens, the hotel will have 235 guest rooms and suites, a signature restaurant and a roof-top bar with panoramic views of the city, a lounge bar and cigar room. When people need to recover from the lounge bar and cigar room, they will have a spa, indoor swimming pool and fitness center to get back in shape.

For business travelers, the hotel will have a conference center covering more than 10,000 square feet with  two ballrooms, six meeting rooms and a business center.
