A new partnership between Minor Hotel Group and Qatari Diar Real Estate Investment Company has been announced for the construction of two new Anantara resorts. Set to open in 2017, the properties located in Tunisia and Morocco, respectively, will expand the group’s North African portfolio.
The Anantara Tozeur Resort will be situated in the city of Tozeur (known for being the home of the original Star Wars film set) and will feature 93 guestrooms and villas, bars and restaurants, business and meeting facilities, kids and teens clubs, a health club and an Anantara Spa.
The Anantara Al Houara Tangier Resort is being developed along 2.5 kilometers of Tangier beachfront overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. The 230-key property will include an 18-hole golf course and golf club, private residences, bars and restaurants, kids and teens clubs, a fitness center, a wellness center and an Anantara Spa.
