Monte-Carlo SBM's 150th Birthday Bash

Monte Carlo SBMImagine Monte Carlo's world-famous Casino Square covered in a lush green carpet of vines and grass, fringed by olive and palm trees. That's exactly what's taking place on the weekend of July 5th and 6th, when Monte-Carlo SBM pulls out all the stops to celebrate its 150th anniversary. Designed by landscape architect Jean Mus, this pop-up garden will host a lavish party with a feast designed by celebrity chef Alain Ducasse, who's been at the helm of the Louis XV for over 25 years.

What's in store for the celebratory meal on Friday, July 5? An original “Dîner sur l’Herbe”- a tribute to the work of Edouard Manet whose painting was created the same year as the Société des Bains de Mer was launched. Afterwards, a concert will be held at the Opera Garnier, followed by an open-air film screening on the Casino terrace. On Saturday, guest-of-honor Rod Stewart kicks off the Monte-Carlo Sporting Summer Festival with a performance at the Salle des Etoiles.
