Tertulia's Seamus Mullen will be bringing his own distinct brand of New York style to his first overseas restaurant at the Mondrian London at Sea Containers, the first ever Mondrian branded boutique hotel outside of the United States.
In addition, British drinks expert, Ryan Chetiyawardana A.K.A Mr. Lyan, will be heading up, ‘Dandelyan’, a seasonal cocktail bar. Both will be accessible to the public when the Mondrian launches this summer.
The yet unnamed restaurant draws inspiration for its decor from the ‘golden age of transatlantic travel’. Gourmands can expect market fresh produce from the neighboring Borough Market, with Mullen working alongside executive chef Luke Raiment to combine the best of Britain with American cuisine. The restaurant will offer a wood fired oven, private dining room and an outdoor terrace where guests can enjoy a riverside dinner.
Adjoining the restaurant will be the Tom Dixon designed ‘Dandelyan’. Inspired by modern botany, the bar’s team will combine science and art with their mixology skills to create re-imaged classic drinks using carefully sourced fruits, vegetables, and fresh herbs. Combined with panoramic city views this is sure to be one of London’s latest hotspots.
