Napa Valley Announces Christmas Offerings

Napa Valley has announced the available offerings in the region during the holiday season. These include: towns and historic wineries awash in twinkling lights, a parade of decorated vintage tractors, tasting tours of fine Napa Valley reds, and celebratory dinners.

Activities include: Yountville’s 23rd Annual Festival of Lights on November 23; Calistoga Lighted Tractor Parade on December 1, when vintage and modern tractors, antique trucks, and construction equipment adorned with lights roll down Calistoga's main street to celebrate the season and the city's agricultural heritage; Calistoga Winter in the Wineries Passport Program from December 1 to February 10, 2013 for wine-tasting from sixteen different wineries; and Holiday Open House & Art Show at Black Stallion Winery on December 1, featuring local art on display.

Still other activities include: Napa Holiday Historic Tour & Taste from December 1, featuring live music, pastry demonstrations, and mini massages; 12 Days of Christmas at Meadowood Napa Valley on December 7, when 12 culinary evenings benefit Share Our Strength to support the organization’s mission of ending childhood hunger in America by 2015; and the opening of the Calistoga Holiday Village on December 1.

Available accommodation include: Villagio Inn & Spa and Vintage Inn, which has a holiday special offer for corporate groups with Affordably Yours For The Holidays; Harvest Inn in St. Helena, which has the Holidays by the Hearth seasonal package; Calistoga Ranch; Solage Calistoga, which has the “Holiday Hideaway” package; Silverado Resort and Spa; Milliken Creek Inn & Spa, which has the Scents of the Season package; and Auberge du Soleil, which offers The Cabernet Experience, a special hotel package during Napa Valley’s Cabernet Season.
