Luxe music fans will love this: Commune Hotels & Resorts is headed into Nashville’s The Gulch neighborhood to open a 224-key Thompson Nashville. Slated to open in 2016, the hotel will be part of a mixed-use neighborhood that will have more than 50 restaurants, retail stores and entertainment venues.
Featuring a signature ground floor restaurant and boutique retail space, the new hotel will rise 12 stories above the intersection of 11th and 12th Avenues. We hear there will be an indoor-outdoor rooftop with views from downtown to South of Broadway. The space will be complete with a stand-up bar, food offerings and a venue for private events.
Location, location, location: Thompson Nashville will share the same block that is home to music venue The Station Inn and The 404 Hotel and Kitchen.
