Dylan Amsterdam Opens New Suites; Offers Upgrade Package

Good news for Amsterdam-bound travelers: The Dylan—a boutique hotel in the middle of Amsterdam’s historic “nine streets” of galleries, antique and clothing shops—has unveiled its Serendipity Collection, 16 new individually designed rooms and suites.

Named after the 17th-century Dutch architect Jacob van Campen, the two Signature Suites in the Serendipity Collection have 20-foot-high ornament ceilings and floor-to-ceiling windows. Decorative touches include a bronze chandelier and a cast iron staircase. (Fun fact: Jacob van Campen designed The Dylan’s historic entrance gate.) The Signature Suites are located on the first floor directly near the arrival archway.

To celebrate the debut, The Dylan is offering a complimentary upgrade to a Serendipity Suite when guests book the “Serendipity Package,” which includes:
·         Overnight stay in a Junior Suite Canal View
·         In-room morning coffee and breakfast
·         Complimentary use of in-room movies with popcorn
·         Remy Meijers Coffee Table Design Book
·         Complimentary morning newspaper

The package is available March through May 2014.

The Dylan is located in the trendy shopping district “de negen straatjes” (the nine streets) and is within walking distance to the city’s main attractions like the Van Gogh Museum, Rijksmuseum, Stedelijk Museum, the Anne Frank House, the Hermitage and the famous Flower Market. Good to know: The Dylan is a member of Small Luxury Hotels of the World.

The Dylan Amsterdam is at Keizersgracht 384. For more information, visit www.dylanamsterdam.com.
