New “Cinema Inspired” Mélodie Suite Debuts at Hôtel Majestic Barrière

Mélodie SuiteHôtel Majestic Barrière just unveiled its new “Cinema Inspired” Presidential Suite, The Mélodie Suite, which was inspired by the 1963 classic film that was shot there, “Mélodie en Sous-sol”.

The Mélodie Suite is situated on the seventh floor of the hotel in the east wing, and offers views of the Bay of Cannes, the Lerin Isles and the Esteral. The 1,076 square foot suite is comprised of a main lounge, two side lounges, and two bedrooms with in-suite pink marble bathrooms.

French interior designer and architect Nathalie Ryan was responsible for the design of the Mélodie Suite. Throughout the space, photos with scenes from the film are on display, mounted on blue tinted mirrors. An open layout and a crescent shaped floor-to-ceiling bay window provide guests with a bright and inviting living area.

The Mélodie Suite is the third suite added to the Majestic Hotel collection, along with the Dior Suite and the Majestic Suite.

Hôtel Majestic Barrière is a historic luxury hotel located on the Croisette in Cannes. The property has 258 rooms, 89 suites, two penthouses, and a private beach, as well as a recently opened My Blend by Clarins Spa.
