In a new post on its blog, Crystal Cruises has released an updated timeline on its future expansion plans.

The line has pushed back the debut of its new ocean ships, which were originally set to sail in 2018, to fall 2019. The Polar Class vessels will include a top deck of luxury Residences with their own private facilities, dining venues and amenities, as well as many other signature Crystal features.

Also new, in the latest update, is Crystal's 2019 World Cruise, the "Grand Continental Odysseys." On the World Cruise Crystal Serenity will sail from Los Angeles to Monte Carlo on January 14, exploring Hawaii; Australia and New Zealand; South Africa; the Mediterranean; the Indian Ocean; and the South Pacific.

The 84-day cruise will be available in four segments and will include the chance to take part in Big Five safaris, hikes through the Australian Outback and Madagascar, and explorations of Hawaiian volcanoes. Guests will also get VIP access to Sydney's Opera House, a visit to Barcelona's Sagrada Familia, and a tour of the Palais Princier de Monaco in Monte Carlo.

The 2019 World Cruise is available for booking now.

Other Expansion Updates

The line has also released an updated timeline of its future expansion plans.

This month Crystal Luxury Air will debut a new 12-seat Bombardier Global Express XRS jet. In July, Crystal Mozart will set sail for Crystal River Cruises, offering Danube itineraries throughout Austria, Hungary, Germany and more. Next year the new river cruise brand will roll out four more ships: Crystal Debussy on the Seine, Crystal Bach on the Rhine, Crystal Ravel in Bordeaux and Crystal Mahler, offering longer 16-day itineraries in Hungary, Slovakia, Austria, Germany and the Netherlands.

Also in 2017 Crystal AirCruises will take flight on a twin-aisle Boeing 777-200LR with 14- and 28-day around-the-world itineraries. The aircraft will be redesigned to accommodate 88 guests with all flat-bed seating.

Finally, in 2018, Crystal Yacht Cruises will launch Crystal Endeavor, a new purpose-built expedition megayacht with a Polar Class 6 designation, two helicopters, two landing pads, two submarines and Zodiacs, jet skis, and scuba, snorkeling, kayaking, and fishing equipment.
