Four Seasons Resort Nevis has announced the appointment of Jim Bishop as director of sales.
Bishop will join the resort’s sales and marketing leadership team, which is now based in South Florida after a move from the sales office in New York City.
Bishop worked at the Four Seasons Hotel New York at the start of his career, and he has remained in luxury travel over the past 25 years. Most recently, he served as director of sales for the PGA National Resort & Spa in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida. Previously, he served as the Maybourne Hotel Group’s regional director of sales for the Americas, overseeing all aspects of the division’s sales office in New York City and representing the company’s three London hotels: Claridge’s, the Connaught and the Berkeley. Before joining Maybourne, he held senior sales positions with Mandarin Oriental, first for the Washington, D.C. property and later for the Miami location. Bishop’s previous career experience also includes senior sales roles with Bellagio Las Vegas, KSL Resorts and the Waldorf Astoria Hotel in New York City.
