New “Luxury Gone Wild” Experience From Clayoquot Wilderness Resort

Clayoquot Wilderness Resort

Clayoquot Wilderness Resort, located on Vancouver Island, British Columbia, has partnered with Rosewood Hotel Georgia to offer travelers a new "Luxury Gone Wild" experience.

The Luxury Gone Wild retreat was created in an effort to “celebrate the golden age of adventure travel”. The trip either begins or ends in the city of Vancouver, where guests will stay at the historic Rosewood Hotel Georgia, which comprises 156 rooms and suites. A complimentary breakfast, a copy of celebrated explorer Levison Wood’s book “Walking the Himalayas”, and an upgrade to the next available category at time of booking will all be included in the experience. During their stay, guests will dine at Vancouver’s most awarded restaurant, Hawksworth Restaurant, and the Prohibition bar, inspired by a Roaring Twenties speakeasy.

Continuing on, The Luxury Gone Wild itinerary will take guests on a short floatplane ride to a safari in the Unesco-designated Clayoquot Sound Biosphere Reserve on Canada’s westernmost shore, on Vancouver Island. There, travelers will stay at the Clayoquot Wilderness Resort, which was inspired by 19th Century Great Camps. Deluxe prospector tent accommodation with Relais & Châteaux in-room, five-star dining, and spa amenities are included with the adventure program.

During the trip, activities include deep-sea fishing, horseback riding, kayaking, whale and bear watching, skeet and target shooting, archery, wild-food foraging, wildlife habitat restoration and education, as well as multiple heli-adventures.  Additionally, the mountain-top Cloud Camp offers adventurous travelers the opportunity to spend a night overlooking the Clayoquot Wilderness Resort base camp and Bedwell River Outpost with a private guide and chef.

Upon arrival at the Clayoquot Wilderness Resort, guests will be greeted with a complimentary men’s or women’s Arc’teryx Beta SL GORE-TEX multi-adventure jacket.

The Luxury Gone Wild package has a minimum one night stay at the Rosewood Hotel Georgia at a starting price of $489 CAD, subject to availability, plus any three or four night stays at the Clayoquot Wilderness Resort.
