The Ludlow Hotel New York, a member of Design Hotels, has opened a new penthouse suite.
Inspired by the hotel’s Lower East Side location, the 1,500 square foot penthouse features eclectic, industrial furnishings, patterns and colors. Co-owner and designer Sam MacPherson also chose to incorporate vintage and contemporary artwork throughout the suite, mimicking the hotel’s historically radical Lower East Side neighborhood.
Complete with floor-to-ceiling windows and a 1,000 square foot terrace overlooking the Manhattan skyline, Brooklyn Bridge and the East River, the penthouse can host any kind of party. Inside, guests can enjoy a fully-equipped kitchen, dining area, living space, sitting area and an entertainment center with a vintage vinyl record player.
The suite’s bedroom features a king size bed, a master bathroom with a rainfall shower and soaking tub and accessories by Parisian fashion icon Maison Martin Margiela.
