New Picasso and Dali Exhibit Opens at The Dali Museum in Florida

The Dali Museum in St. Petersburg, Florida, opened a new exhibit in a joint partnership with Museu Picasso in Barcelona featuring artists Pablo Picasso and Salvador Dali.

With more than 90 works of art from 20 museums worldwide the exhibit will be housed at The Dali Museum until February. It will then travel to Barcelona to the Museu Picasso, which will house the exhibit throughout the month of June. The exhibit will feature paintings, drawings and personal letters from the two artists.

Museu Picasso serves as an authority on Picasso’s art with more than 4,000 pieces in the permanent collection. The museum focuses on Picasso’s deep relationship with Barcelona that lasted throughout the artist’s life. The Dali Museum celebrates the work of Salvador Dali through events, exhibits and special programs.
