New Restaurant Opens in NYC's Viceroy Hotel

Here's a cool new addition to New York City's food scene: City website Gothamist is reporting that chef, restaurateur and Chopped judge Marc Murphy has opened a new eatery, Kingside, inside the new Viceroy New York hotel in Midtown.

The New American menu includes French and Italian cuisine (think  Roasted Snails with bone marrow and garlic butter; Cervella di Vitello in a fragrant caper, lemon and brown butter application; and Seared Tuna with wild mushrooms and braised radish.) Carnivores will want to order the 32-ounce Cowboy Rib Eye for two ($95) with roasted bone marrow, butter and watercress. There's also a raw bar and charcuterie/cheese plate options. The wine list has options from New Zealand, Italy, Spain and beyond, available "by the quartino," half or full bottle.

The restaurant is located at 124 West 57th Street inside the Viceroy New York. Call 212-707-8000 or visit kingside-restaurant.com for more information and reservations.
