As the recent nuclear deal with Iran gains support and criticism from global leaders this week, Iran’s tourism is also getting more attention and attracting new visitors. One supplier, Iran Luxury Travel, based in North Carolina, is now offering exciting new skiing and snowboarding opportunities in Dizin (located two hours from Tehran).

The ski season is open from late November through late May in Dizin and offers lifts to 12,000 feet above the tree line. There are combinations of 20 green, blue, black diamond and black double diamond runs. As an added convenience, there are English-speaking instructors available to help guests choose the best runs. For a real challenge, snow lovers should head to Shemshak, just nine miles from Dizin, for triple black diamond runs.

Iran Luxury Travel will create custom-planned trips and also offers the “Ski / Snowboard Iran” package. This five-day, four-night package can booked with a minimum of two people and includes touches like daily breakfast. Bonus: Sightseeing in other parts of Iran can be added on to the package and Iran Luxury Travel will help arrange visas and needed travel documents.
