New Wine Room Opens at Francis Ford Coppola's Hotel in Belize

Turtle Inn, which is part of The Family Coppola Resorts, recently announced the opening of its new wine room designed by Laurent Deroo and built by local Belizean builder and architect, Margarito M. Ortiz.

The room, which features a wall-to-wall glass-encased wine cellar, holds up to 1,200 bottles of wine including award winning selections from Francis Ford Coppola’s two wineries in Sonoma County (Francis Ford Coppola Winery and Virginia Dare Winery) as well as his Inglenook estate in Napa, along with many other vintages from ChileArgentina, Italy, France and the U.S.

Guests are now able to tour the beautiful space while enjoying tastings of select vintages. Or, to make a day out of the experience, guests also have the option to rent out the garden, which sits just outside the cellar, for an intimate event accompanied by local cheeses and freshly baked breads made in-house.

The Family Coppola Resorts are a collection of unique award-winning properties. Drawing upon inspiration from his film career and travels to the far reaching corners of the world, each resort is known for its friendly staff and for the exploration opportunities it offers.
