It's just a few days to go till Valentine's Day, and couples in and around New York City will be making the most of the long, romantic weekend. For those still looking for an escape, several hotels have some last-minute deals available...but book soon!
W Hotels
The W Hotels in the city (the W New York, W New York – Times Square, W New York – Union Square, and W New York –Downtown) are offering some fun packages for couples. The Love package includes a Polaroid camera for old-fashioned picture-taking (and making it easy to leave the cell phones off), a customized music playlist, chocolate truffles and special perfume from MIN. The Lust package, on the other hand, includes an in-suite photo shoot, an Alexander Wang x Beats by Dre "Pill" speaker (along with a customized playlist), a Dennis Basso fur throw and, for the gourmands, Caviar Caspian Sea Almas Osetra Caviar by Caviar Russe and Bottle of 1990 Louis Roederer Cristal Brut Champagne Methuselah.

The Plaza
The Plaza Hotel is offering a romance package that includes accommodations; a welcome amenity of chocolate truffles, Champagne, and a keepsake gift of two Champagne flutes etched with The Plaza logo; breakfast in bed; and a unique floral arrangement. Good to know: A two-night minimum stay is required with and the package must be booked 48 hours in advance.
The hotel is also offering a Valentine's Day retreat for foodies. Guests can get an exclusive Osetra Caviar Trio tasting at the new Olma Caviar Boutique & Bar at The Plaza, and then select a favorite to take home. They can also meet with Executive Chef Steven Crocker of the Todd English Food Hall at The Plaza for private cooking lesson, where they will prep and cook their dinner for the evening. (Nice touch: Consultants will reach out in advance to customize the meal to the couple's taste. And wine parings are included, bien sur.) Good to know: A three-night minimum is required with 72 hours advance notice, so book fast!
Families will like the Plaza's Cupid for the Kids package. They can get a Plaza Room at a 50 percent discount when booking an Edwardian Suite, and then head out to Central Park's Wollman Rink for an afternoon of skating. Conrad New York
The Conrad New York is offering a VIP Valentine’s Day retreat that includes accommodations in a suite, roundtrip private car transfers to and from the airport, a special Valentine’s Day three-course dinner (with wine, of course), a private “New Yorker” helicopter tour for two to take in the Manhattan skyline, a couples' massage in-suite, a floral arrangement accompanied by champagne and chocolate-covered strawberries, a discount at Accents New York to shop for jewelry and accessories, continental breakfast-in-bed for two daily and late check-out until 2 p.m. (based on availability).
Warwick New York Hotel
For locals who don't need a hotel room for the night, Murals on 54, a restaurant in the Warwick New York Hotel will have a special three-course prix fixe dinner from 6–9 p.m. on Valentine's Day.
The menu will include appetizers like lobster bisque or buffalo mozzarella with heirloom tomatoes, followed by a second course of filet mignon or North Pacific halibut.
